The path to change isn't one to be walked alone. A wise guide with experience and education can hold a space for you to safely move toward the understanding and ease you seek. We will work together in an act of co-creation to uncover your inner wisdom and knowing. My own journey of healing has pointed me toward the importance of a nonviolent stance honoring each client as the expert of their own process. 

 

Creating safety includes somatic awareness and learning.  As a result, I have focused my continuing education on Somatic Therapies including Feldenkrais, Integrative Somatic Parts Work, Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi, and EMDR for trauma and dissociation. We have all that we need inside and I believe wholeheartedly that you can discover that what you are looking for and bring it to life!

 

My focus areas include: Working with children of emotionally immature parents; Addressing cycles of generational trauma; Healing from rigid social & religious communities; Repair of developmental and complex trauma symptoms from anxiety and depression to dissociation; Recovery from narcissistic abuse with a focus on self-empowerment and self-understanding.   

 

I am passionate about this work as I have been on my own existential journey, and I am ready to come alongside you as you find your unique path. I have a Masters in Counseling Psychology from the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology and worked through the Pandemic as a Clinical Therapist at Fairfax Behavioral Hospital before starting my private practice in 2022.  I am happy to provide a 15 minute telephone consultation to talk and answer questions you may have.
